School Programs
"Our Urban Forest" is an interactive in-class program that explores the importance of trees in urban areas. From January through March, an experienced educator will visit schools in the City of Peterborough for half-day programs linked to the Grade 4 "Habitats and Communities" and Grade 6 "Biodiversity" curriculum.
A choice of hands-on program activities can include outdoor exploration of school grounds, creation of 3D models or posters, persuasive letter writing, planning an action project, creating a radio show and much more!
